Any cinema that isn't too modern and shiny. It's gotta be a bit run down and backwards. If I wanted huge armchairs and leg rests I would have stayed at home :O)
The IFC is nice.
Kinoparama sounds nice by virtue of the fact it's in Paris.
Wort one I've been in was a place in Rathmines.Thats the opposite end of the spectrum although we did get some booze through the doors :O)
So you don't go to the cinema for the big screens and the high quality sound?
Well big screen is fine but they don't need to be enormous and the sound is usually good anyway.
I guess just to refine that statement, I love to see my arty/indie flicks in suitable arty environments. Watching Almodovar in the UGC etc would just ruin it for me.
So you wouldn't be up for seeing an Almodovar in Madrid?
When are you heading over? I don't think I'd go all that way for a movie![]()
Cineworld, Parnell Street, especially when I can get my seats - back row, in the very corner, just so I dont have muppets kicking my chair behind me, or disturbing me cause they arrived late
They have a nice cinema at Bathurst, NSW, Aus. It's all egyptian themed and quite beautiful. Not the greatest but the theme is good. =)
