Talking Transformers

Has anyone else seen Transformers?

I saw it over the weekend and absolutely loved it

It won't improve your intellect, but it's a great action film - typical Michael Bay!

Saw it last night ... but don't think I was in the right frame of mind to see it ...

Still I'd definitely recommend it to anyone interested in killing 2 and a half hours

Nice visuals ... cheesey lines ... good action ... cast worked well together ... I'd probably give it a 7/10 ... probably have given it 8 ... or 8.5 if I'd been in the right frame of mind

The clips I've seen look pretty good, but I'll probably give it a miss until it shows up in xtravision.

I reckon its one for the cinema ... unless you've a really good home cinema setup

All films look better on the big screen, but some look better than others - any Michael Bay will, for example.

I take it you're not much of an action fan?

I'm not so sure ... for me personally action films I have to see on the big screen for the full impact ... that said I'm thinking of getting a proper home cinema setup .. so maybe that would change things for me ... as it is I've a 20inch TV that is rarely turned on ...

Apart from action movies ... I can't really think of any movies I'd go to see .. for the "cinema" experience ...

(ok may go to see harry potter .. but thats got fight scenes ... and a lot of atmosphere)

The "making of" goes into a lot of detail about the sets they built for it.

I'm looking forward to going to LA again so that I can see the new additions to the WB museum
